John Varvatos Artisan Pure is a crisp woody-citrus fragrance launched in 2017 by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux, inspired by the coffee and citrus groves of Xalapa, Mexico. It opens with lemon, bergamot, mandarin, clementine, thyme, and marjoram, moving into a heart of petitgrain and ginger, before settling into a base of woods, orris root, amber, and musk — bright, refined, and cool.
